1. Read the official notification carefully

• Check eligibility: age, educational qualification, nationality, experience and any reservation rules.

• Note important dates: start date, last date, exam date, and fee payment deadline.

2. Gather documents

• Scanned passport-size photo (specifications from notification), signature, caste certificate (if applicable), educational certificates, ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport), and domicile certificate.

• Keep PDFs and images under specified size and resolution.

3. Create/login to the portal

• Many portals require registration using email and mobile. Save login credentials and verification OTPs.

4. Fill application form

• Enter personal details exactly as in your ID.

• Use correct spellings for names and contact numbers.

• Select categories and exam centres as per preference.

5. Upload files

• Use correct format (jpg/png/pdf) and dimensions.

• Preview uploaded files to ensure readability.

6. Pay application fee

• Use online modes (UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Netbanking) or offline challan if provided.

• Save payment receipt and transaction ID.

7. Review & Submit

• Double-check all fields; once submitted many portals don’t allow edits.

• Download and save the confirmation page and application copy.

8. After submission

• Note down application number for future reference.

• Keep an eye on the portal for admit card updates and exam schedule.
