RRB JE Recruitment 2025

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment 2025 under CEN 05/2025, with a total of 2,569 vacancies available.

The official detailed notification, including eligibility criteriaimportant dates, and other instructions, will be published online soon.

Engineering graduates and diploma holders interested in securing a government job with Indian Railways should carefully check the vacancy details and ensure they meet the requirements before applying.

Important Dates Application Fee
  • Application Start: 31 October 2025
  • Last Date Apply Online: 30th November 2025 (11:59 pm)
  • Last date for application fee payment: 02 December 2025
  • Application form correction date: 03-12 December
  • Admit card: Notify Later
  • Exam Date: 19th – 20th Feb & 3rd March,2026
  • Candidates are advised to verify the details on the Official Website of RRB.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline).
  • Age Limit: 18 – 33 years (Relaxation as per government norms).

 

Specific Post Educational Qualifications

Posts Educational Qualification
Depot Material Superintendent Diploma/Degree in Engineering from any discipline.
Chemical Supervisor & Metallurgical Supervisor bachelor’s degree in science with Physics and Chemistry with minimum 55% marks.
Junior Engineer Diploma/Degree in (Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering, S&T) Engineering or Relevant Stream from a recognized university.

  1. Stage 1– 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-I)
  2. Stage 2– 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2)
  3. Stage 3– Document Verification
  4. Stage 4– Medical Examination

Preparation for RRB JE Exam Tips
  1. Understand the Syllabus: Thoroughly go through the complete syllabus and exam pattern to understand the weightage of each section.
  2. Create a Study Plan: Prepare a realistic study schedule covering all subjects with dedicated time for revision.
  3. Practice Previous Year Papers: Solve previous years’ question papers to understand the exam pattern and difficulty level.
  4. Take Mock Tests: Regular mock tests will help you improve time management and identify weak areas.
  5. Focus on Weak Areas: Spend extra time on subjects or topics where you need improvement.
Important Instructions
  1. Carry a printout of your admit card to the examination center along with a valid photo ID proof.
  2. Reach the examination center at least 1 hour before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card.
  3. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, etc., are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
  4. Follow all the instructions given by the invigilators during the examination.
  5. Read the questions carefully before attempting them.
